Position Overview:

Look North World (LNW) is on the lookout for a seasoned and collaborative individual with a knack for assembling production teams in startup environments. Join us as a Lead Producer, where you'll spearhead the operational aspects of game development, while also working side-by-side to help teams deliver on a daily basis. From laying down frameworks to managing resources and risks, your role ensures projects hit the mark on time, within budget, and with top-notch quality. Working closely with the COO and team members, you'll craft strategies to meet milestones and steer the development roadmap. Regular updates on project status and compliance with game development obligations are also part of your remit.

We're not your typical game developer and publisher. We're pioneering a new category in the industry, fueled by our passion for creating innovative gameplay experiences and pushing the boundaries of interactive entertainment. Our unique approach involves developing new gameplay and intellectual property (IP) within Creator marketplaces, with our initial focus on UEFN. Our company is the product of a team of seasoned game developers with a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.

This role is anticipated to be a remote work position open to most countries in North and South America, with some work happening on-site during biannual team meet ups.

Benefits include early stage stock options, unlimited PTO, company shutdowns in the summer and end-of-year, 401K plan, highly competitive 100% health insurance coverage paid for US-based employees, and small collaborative teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality games within companies of 50+ employees, in roles such as Director of Production, Executive Producer, or higher.

  • Proficient in project management essentials, including capacity planning and scope management.

  • Skilled in managing team performance, driving higher-quality output from direct reports.

  • Experience in establishing and managing a network of co-development partners, promoting a collaborative culture and cost efficiency across global teams.

  • Familiarity with project management software like Favro, JIRA, etc.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

  • Creative, proactive, and results-oriented, thriving in fast-paced environments.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Overseeing all operational aspects of game development, including framework establishment, reporting, risk management, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborating with project leadership to devise strategies for meeting milestones and maintaining the development roadmap.

  • Leading the development of game content and features, resolving challenges, and prioritizing tasks for optimal outcomes.

  • Fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment, guiding project managers at all levels.

  • Defining and monitoring project key performance indicators to ensure quality, timely delivery, and predictability.

  • Recruiting, mentoring, and expanding the production department in alignment with LNW's growth.

  • Maintaining open communication with teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.

  • Implementing best organizational practices and processes to enable high-quality work within budget and schedule constraints.
